Dana Point 4th of July Celebrations 2018

4th of July in Dana Point 2018

The Dana Point fireworks show is displayed from off the coast of Doheny State Beach. The show can be seen from any clear view, even past the city. Another beautiful viewing option with an even brighter sight is from the sport fishing boat Sum Fun, which hosts an event co-sponsored by Dana Wharf Sport Fishing. The boat departs from Dana Wharf Sport Fishing.

An eventful day time activity to take part in is the water wars in the Dana Point Harbor.

The 4th of July is one of the busiest days of the year in Dana Point, and the parking is no exception. But don’t worry, the city’s got you covered! To avoid traffic jams and overfull parking, Dana Pointers are encouraged to bike or walk to their destinations or use the FREE round trip shuttle buses from Dana Hills High School to Dana Point Harbor, running from 8:00am to 11:00pm.

Celebrating Independence Day is done throughout the country, but spending it in the small town of Dana Point gives participants a sense of community and an unwinding feeling. Whether it’s in the harbor in the midst of the soaking battle, or laying back listening to 88.5 FM and watching the fireworks, Dana Point is the place to be.
